Growing up, Rachel spent a lot of time on the coast with her family. Whether it was camping at home in Albany or escaping the cold weather and venturing up north to Ningaloo. She’s always felt humbled by the ocean and all of its creatures.

In recent years she’s spent time creating pieces that are heavily inspired by her previous life experiences and current surroundings.

Considering her subjects as she practices has led Rachel to research different marine species in hope to become more knowledgeable about them and the impact we have on their environments.
